Flaxseed Oil Hummus Recipe

Hummus is believed to have originated in the Middle East, a region known for its rich culinary traditions. It is a staple in many Middle Eastern cuisines and has been enjoyed for centuries.

Our flaxseed oil hummus recipe combines the benefits of traditional hummus with the added nutritional advantages of flaxseed oil.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed oil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  • Combine chickpeas, tahini, garlic, and lemon juice in a food processor and blend until smooth.
  • While the processor is running, slowly add flaxseed oil and olive oil until well mixed.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with flaxseed oil and paprika.
  • Serve with pita bread, crackers, or vegetables.
